Green Tea

Imperial Green Snail Spring

from $8.50

This is the finest Green Snail Spring we’ve ever had. Also, known as Bi Luo Chun and Astounding Fragrance, this tea is exquisite. Created from only the young buds of first flush spring tea, this expertly crafted green tastes like no other - depth, sweetness, spicy, round on the tongue, incredibly fresh, wonderfully complex. Spring 2024 picked and processed.

With hints of umami and black pepper up front, you will love the sweetness left at the back of the tongue upon swallowing this silky smooth drink. Delicate and rich, with a touch of vegetal astringency.

This may be the highest-grade green tea we’ve sourced out of the Yunnan Province of China and we highly recommend giving this one a go while we have it in stock. When you get it, you’ll want to spend time just admiring the appearance of these tea little pellets of green tea joy.

Try this: Pour hot water into your tea pot or gaiwan prior to brewing. Let the vessel get good and warm, then pour off. Add the dry leaf and let the gentle heat warm the leaf for a few seconds, then smell. Yeah, that’s one of the greatest things your nose has experienced. Enjoy!
