Pu'er

2011 Simao Old Tea Nugget

from $8.00

Rich and creamy, chocolatey, robust and sweet, these 2011 nuggets brew up a delightful burgundy colored tea liquor. Any post-fermentation aroma is long gone from these perfectly stored gems. This tea will steep over and over and over again. This will fuel you for hours alone or with a group of friends. Incredibly satisfying and can’t be over-brewed.

Remember to brew this tea with the hottest water possible and 2 to 3 10-second rinses. Start your first few steeps at 30 to 40 seconds and see where this tea takes you as you lengthen the steepings to your liking. Some prefer to brew nuggets in a well-warmed tea thermos for an hour in order to get max extraction. There are no rules here, make the tea how YOU like it.
