Small World 2022 Ripe mini toucha
Harvested in spring 2021 in Mang Fei, Yunnan province. Picked and processed in 2021, we visited this area (Lincang) in 2012 and were impressed with the fresh, clean air and lack of cities and traffic. The leaves were steamed and pressed into these 5 gram mini’s on 6/7/2022.
Rather than a blend of both larger and smaller leaves, this ripe tea is composed of all mid-sized leaves. This makes it perfect for those who love to brew tea in longer infusions, but still works well in gong fu style brewing. You'll find the brewed liquor of this tea to be very clear and deep red. The flavor is earthy, smooth, sweet in shorter steeps. The ocean side minerality and the round mouthfeel are so very pleasant.
