Silver Assamica
Savory, sweet, sun-dried goodness is right here, right now and ready for your tea pot. Prepare yourself for a very special cup with Silver Assamica, a silver needle white tea. Smooth and fruity, capable of many infusions this is a masterfully produced offering.
The brewed cup rewards the drinker with hints of pear, apple, cinnamon and just a bit of floral goodness. If pushed with higher temps early on, there will be some astringency (tongue drying) which many relish. Enjoy the very distant sweet smoke in earlier infusions, perfectly balanced with the fruity tones. We like to increase the water temperature on this one later in a session to bring out more minerals and that last bit of sweetness. Plenty of staying power here, in terms of how well this one holds up over multiple infusions and the energy it provides the body and mind.
This is an April 2023 picked and processed leaf, one that will age incredibly well over the next 3 to 5 years.

Basic Brewing Instructions:
Loose, white tea should be given a 10 second rinse with the same temperature water as used for brewing. This warms the pot and primes the leaf.
175˚-185˚ F water temperature.
Use 1 Tbsp. per 8oz. of filtered water.
Recommended first steeping of 1 minute. Add 30 seconds for each subsequent infusion. Steeps over and over again! Try pushing water temperature higher in later infusions to coax the minerals and roundness out of the leaf.
Tea brewing is meant to be a joyful exploration. There are no hard and fast rules. Experiment with the quantity of tea that you use, and steeping times. Enjoy discovering what your preferences are. They may change day to day.
